There are many ways to increase stats passively and actively, up to a cap.&lt;br /&gt;

An attribute &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;cannot&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; surpass its cap from passive / permanent sources. However, there are two ways of increasing an attribute&amp;#039;s cap; [[Abilities#Spell School Mastery|Spell School Masteries]] and [[Attributes#Blood Efficiency|Blood Efficiency]]. The latter of which is obtained from the &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;V&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; Bonus by drinking [[Blood|100% Quality Blood]] and/or the {{Ability|Sanguine Mastery|30|frameName=circle|display=Sanguine Mastery Passive}}. On the attributes screen, how close you are to reaching a stat cap is indicated by a red bar underneath the attribute. Any&amp;amp;nbsp;passive attributes beyond the cap are wasted and highlighted in red. &lt;br /&gt;
