Overview
Human Form is a Shapeshifting Power that allows a vampire to pass unnoticed by most humans. It is acquired after defeating Bane the Shadowblade, and its main use is to trade with Rural Merchants in Dunley Farmlands and City Vendors in Silverlight Hills. The Shady Vendors in Farbane Woods and the Treasure Hunter in Gloomrot North do not require Human Form. It can also be useful for scouting human villages.
Like all Shapeshifting Powers, any damage received will break the form, though a notable exception to this is the damage received from Silver Exposure.
Some high level Silverlight Hills enemies such as Paladins, Priests, Clerics and Lightweavers won't be fooled by this disguise and will attack on sight.
The Founder's Pack: Eldest Bloodline & Legacy of Castlevania DLCs each add a variant of this Vampire Power called ![]()
Grandma Form & Glamour of Maria Renard respectively. These variants are purely cosmetic, and have the same functionality as the base human form.
Notes
- Movement speed is reduced by 33% while active.
- The disguise will be broken if the vampire interacts with a container, drinks a potion, casts a spell (including Veil variants), attacks, or manually cancels the form.
History
- Prior to the Gloomrot update, this ability would be given to players after defeating Beatrice the Tailor.
- In earlier versions of V Rising, damage from Silver Exposure would break Human Form, making it difficult to trade with Vendors. This is no longer the case.
