PvP Protection, also known as Newly Awakened is a temporary buff the player is granted upon initially spawning in a PvP Server. By default (medium setting) it only lasts 1 hour, but this can be extended via the Server Settings. It has the following description:
You cannot be damaged by other players and you are unable to deal damage to other players.
You can remove this effect by typing "/pvp" in chat.
The effect expires for all players of the same clan once the effect wears off from anyone within the clan.
