Silver Exposure
More actions
Silver Exposure, previously known as Silver Sickness, is a stacking debuff caused by carrying items with the silver tag.
Effects
The player will take damage over time based on the number of stacks of Silver Exposure, which is determined by the amount of silver currently in the player's inventory, specifically ![]()
Silver Coins, ![]()
Goldsun Coins and ![]()
Silver Ore; 1 stack per 6.67 coins and/or 1 stack per 33.34 units of ore, rounded to the nearest integer.
It's important to note that there are several items that do not have the silver tag despite an obvious inference, such as ![]()
Dark Silver Ingots.
Countermeasures
Silver Resistance Rating reduces the damage taken from each tick of this debuff and increases the number of stacks that can be withstood without taking damage. The exact amounts can be viewed by hovering over Resistances in the Attributes tab.
The debuff deals damage over time every 2 seconds, however each point of Silver Resistance mitigates roughly 5.33 stacks worth of damage ticks. See the formula below:
<math>Silver\ Resistance \times 5.333 = Silver\ Carrying\ Capacity</math>

Trivia
- In earlier versions of the game, damage from Silver Exposure would break

Human Form, making it difficult to trade with vendors. This has since been removed.
