Voidquake Vortex.</aside>Soul Shard of the Winged Horror is one of five Soul Shards, one of the most coveted and powerful Jewelry items in V Rising.
On 
Official Servers Soul Shards are unique, meaning only one of each type may exist at a time. This soul shard is obtained by being the first to slay Talzur the Winged Horror. If the server setting is set to plentiful, it always drops.
Soul Shard Mechanics
Upon equipping the jewelry, the player's ultimate ability is replaced with 
Voidquake Vortex:
"Disappear and reappear at target location in a violent explosion, dealing 400% magic damage, inflicting Ignite, and pulling enemies toward the center. Gain 
Power Surge upon reappearing."
In Update 1.1. players may replace the Soul Shard's ultimate ability freely.
The 15% damage bonus to vampires applies to both players and enemies.
Soul Shards lose durability over time and can only be repaired by feeding on Primal Blood Souls during Tier 2 Rift Incursions. Each Primal Blood Soul consumed restores 750 durability, distributed between all shards in the player's inventory. If a Soul Shard is destroyed it returns to its V Blood Carrier, in this case Winged Horror.
After Update 1.1 its durability loss may now be sped up or disabled via the Server Settings.
They may be teleported outside of raid windows, and carried while in 
Bat Form. (toggleable in settings)
On PvP servers Soul Shards are dropped on death, and can be stolen by other players. To prevent this, they may be stored in their respective pedestals; 
Pedestal of the Winged Horror.
Soul Shards are automatically destroyed if not picked up from the ground within 60 minutes.
