Doors are used to keep unwanted enemies out. Requires an archway to be placed.

The Verdant Gate is an alternative to the 
Castle Gate.
It must be placed in a 
Castle Entrance. Like all other doors, it can be knocked on but not opened by enemy vampires.
The Servant Lock variant additionally locks the door from being opened by Servants.
