</aside>The Eye of Twilight is used to locate and track Soul Shard accessories obtained from the most powerful V Blood Carriers in the game. Once constructed, the shards' current locations will be revealed on your map as long as this structure is in your territory.

By default only one of each type of Soul Shard exists on a PvP server while on a PvE server there can exist multiple instances, depending on server settings.
