Gloomy Saplings are a Sapling which can only rarely drop from regular trees in Gloomrot North. There are many different types of regular trees in Gloomrot North, and they can be difficult to distinguish from Gloomy Trees at a glance, but all of the regular trees may drop the sapling. Gloomy trees, which drop Gloom Wood, can only drop Pine Saplings.

Gloomy Saplings can be planted in player territory through the hotbar. Once selected it will bring up the build menu, allowing it to be planted in an empty Large Growing Plot.

Fully grown Gloomy Saplings give Gloom Wood when harvested.
