</aside>EMP is a deployable item akin to Major Explosive Box. One is required to disable the electrified gate and door of Doctor Blackbrew's Castle, where Adam the Firstborn is held. It is possible to fly over the gate using 
Bat Form to save an EMP, but the door must be disabled. It can also be used to stun machine enemies such as Lightning Protectors, but cannot be placed near POIs.
