Attacks

  • Smash - Basic melee attack.
  • Crush - It slams the ground, causing a large number of rocks to fall from the ceiling 4 times in a circle radiating out from them. These rocks cannot be blocked by counters.
  • Rage - It roars and glows red, automatically snaring the player and gaining increased attack speed for 3 attacks.
  • Charge - It crouches on its haunches before charging forward in a straight line.

Brutal Difficulty

On brutal difficulty, rocks will continually fall from the ceiling in random locations around the arena.

  • Crush - More rocks fall from the ceiling and have a larger area of effect.
  • Rage - After roaring, it now also summons a Bear to fight alongside it.

Strategy

The key to this fight is dodging the rocks falling from the ceiling while dealing consistent damage to Kodia, so ranged weapons and spells are very useful.

Kodia's Rage attack is very threatening because it will snare the player no matter where they are in the arena, making it more difficult for them to avoid Kodia's next attacks. It is recommended to save your Veil dash or bring a counter to avoid taking damage until the snare wears off.
