Attacks

Green Bolt - He fires a single skull ranged attack.
Teleport - He raises up in the air, disappears, then creates an area of effect under the player. After a moment he reappears in the area, and inflicts Fear on the player if haven't left the area, forcing them to run away from him.
Skulls - He says "Your bones will be mine!", then radiates 3 waves of skull projectiles in all directions around him. These projectiles wind back and forth while traveling through the air.
Summon Minions - He says "Behold!", then summons 3 Armoured Skeletons and 1 Skeleton Crossbow (Armoured).
Summon Army - He says "Let's test that meat suit of yours!", then summons a large group of 14 Skeletons.

Green Bolt - This attack now explodes in an AoE if it hits anything or reaches its maximum range.

Strategy

Nicholaus' arena is constantly shrouded in shadow, making it possible to fight him even during the day.

It's essential to manage Nicholaus's army of skeletons with area of effect spells (e.g. Bone Explosion, Ice Nova, Aftershock) so that they don't add up too quickly. Bone Explosion is particularly effective here since it will summon a large number of skeletons from the remains of Nicholaus's skeletons, which can easily distract Nicholaus while the player continues to damage him. A ranged weapon will also help the player attack him while maintaining distance to better dodge his skull projectiles.
