Vendors (also known as dealers, merchants or traders) can be found across Vardoran selling a wide variety of Items in exchange for specific currencies. You need to be in 
Human Form or 
Grandma Form to interact with some vendors. In earlier versions of V Rising, damage from Silver Exposure would break the disguise, making it difficult to trade. This is no longer the case.
Excluding Treasure Hunter and Vampire Merchants, there are four main types of vendors in each region (Farbane Woods, Dunley Farmlands, Silverlight Hills):
- Book Vendor: Sells Recipes to unlock at a
Research Desk, 
Study or 
Athenaeum. - Herbs & Potions Vendor: Sells Seeds, Brews & Potions.
- Gem Vendor: Sells Crude, Regular or Flawless Gems.
- Goods Vendor: Sells Fish, various rare resources and exclusive Hats.
Treasure Hunter is a special vendor in Gloomrot North who sells Sanguine Weapon blueprints, unique tier 3 Cloaks, and high end main vendor items.
Vampire Merchants are special vendors in Ruins of Mortium who sell 
Rare Weapon Shards and 
Epic Weapon Shards.
Vendors sell fixed quantities of items, varying by category. They will refresh their stock of items every 55 mins. For some categories, all variations are always purchaseable, while for others, only a partial selection are offered, chosen randomly each refresh. (for example: if the vendor sells three different weapons, he will refresh his stock with a new random selection of three weapons).
All vendors only accept one currency at their store. The currency used by the main vendors depends on the location of their store:

Silver Coins - Silverlight Hills Vendors accept
Goldsun Coins - Treasure Hunter Vendor accepts Goldsun Coins
- Vampire Merchant (Rare) accepts
750 Stygian Shards for each shard. - Vampire Merchant (Epic) accepts
1500 Greater Stygian Shards for each shard.
There are two Shady Merchants Camps in Farbane Woods. They can be found near the East and Western Farbane Woods Waygates. The Shady Dealers accept Copper Coins and you don't need the Human Form to interact with them.

The Shady Book Dealer always sells 15 total different recipes that can be unlocked at a Research Desk.

Unlike Farbane Woods, there is only one market in Dunley Farmlands; the Dunley Farmers Market. It can be found in the center of the Dunley Farmlands region, between two Dunley Farmlands Waygates and up North from the Haunted Iron Mine. The Rural Merchants accept Silver Coins as currency, though it should be noted that you must be in Human Form to trade with them.

The Rural Book Merchant always sells a total 13 of different recipes (each of them with specific stock) to be unlocked at the Study.

Ancestral Forge. The shards generate random attributes once purchased.
