Added in Update 1.1.
Like other channelled area abilities, this spell cannot be countered. However, the cone of cold at the end can.
In the 1.1 Spring Update its damage distribution during channel was (supposed to) be changed, backloading some of the damage. In practice the damage of the spell was increased from 180% to 210%.
